Chris K's Joinery
Chris K’s Joinery was founded by Chris Kahle, a qualified, master joiner and cabinet maker with over 40 years of experience in fine carpentry. Chris is originally from the capital of Saxony, called Dresden, in Eastern Germany. He has worked on buildings like the Semperoper in Dresden, Castle Dresden, Gewandhaus in Leipzig and many more.
Alongside his many years of fine restoration and bespoke joinery work, he has also trained apprentices for joinery and cabinet making.
When Chris first moved to the UK, he fitted windows for a premium Austrian company called Internorm.
In 2006, Chris K’s Joinery was established in Edinburgh, 5 years after Chris moved to Perthshire and started with bespoke joinery. In 2018 he took his son Jonathan on board as an apprentice. Since 2022 Jonathan works as a full trained joiner.
