Kerr Carpentry

Leo started his career as an apprentice furniture maker under the tuition of his father Colin Kerr, a skilled and highly respected master craftsman in his own right. During this time Leo learnt many skills including furniture restoration, bespoke furniture making, and fine carpentry work. Leo later went on to work for a joinery and construction company in order to broaden his skills and abilities.

In 2014 Leo established ‘Kerr Carpentry’ from his custom-built gallery and workshop in Burray. Work carried out ranges from Property work to Specialist Joinery and Bespoke Furniture.  Leo wanted to create a company that could combine and offer skilled craftmanship and attention to detail with a personalised service.

In 2016 Leo was proud to be recognised for the company’s high-quality service and craftmanship by ‘The Guild of Master Craftsmen’.

Leo has now gone on to develop and grow the business to include a team of highly skilled staff and sub-contractors. Kerr Carpentry can now offer a complete build and design service from concept to completion!
