Mountain Stoneworks
Mountain Stoneworks is a small company, based in Scotland, that specialises in the creation of high quality Lithomex stone repair and authentic lime pointing. We have been pushing the boundaries of what is possible with Lithomex stone repair for over fifteen years now, and have made training DVD's on the subject. Even after all this time though, we still get immense pleasure from taking a stone building that has lost it surface detail through weathering or inappropriate cement pointing, and returning it to its original glory.
We operate in Dundee, Glasgow, Edinburgh and are willing to travel wherever the work takes us. Nick and Vic re-pointed my and my neighbour's flatted Victorian house, I was getting damp seeping in via cracked snd missing pointing. They were really helpful, clearly very experienced, nice guys to speak to and very professional. They came, got on with the job and didn’t waste time. My neighbours flowerbeds were a bit trampled but the job couldn’t have been done properly if the flowerbeds weren’t walked on. Just be aware, if your plants are super precious to you, move them beforehand!
