Ryan Fenton Stonemasons
Growing up and living in North East Fife, with Newport, Broughty Ferry, and St Andrews on my doorstep, gave me the opportunity to appreciate the craftsmanship and history of the many stone structures that shape these areas.
As with anything, time and harsh elements take their toll. This is where the craft of stonemasonry comes into its own—preserving, restoring, and breathing new life into damaged masonry, bringing it back to its former glory.
I began my journey into this craft at the age of 17, working alongside a highly skilled local craftsman who taught me all things ‘stone’. Since qualifying over 10 years ago, I have been a loyal employee within the same business, gaining experience on a wide variety of projects. These range from small-scale home repairs to large-scale castle restorations.
My expertise lies in restoration and repair, stone building, stone cladding, traditional lime mortar pointing, chimneys, tooling and dressing stone, and everything in between!
I have ‘carved’ out a business for myself, and so begins the inception of RF Stonemasons.
