At The Sandstone Specialists we employ traditional crafts and skills to enhance, repair and restore natural stone and brick buildings. We also create new adaptions to buildings through architectural specifications.
We specialise in new build and restoration. We work for both residential homeowners and commercial clients in Glasgow, and surrounding areas.
Services
The Sandstone Specialists provide all types of stone work from new build to restoration. We carry out all lime work including pointing, rendering and harling. We specialise in listed and historic buildings aswell as new build extensions.
All of our projects are fully insured and carried out by time served craftsman only.

If you have a blonde sandstone property in Scotland, it’s essential to get a specialist to do the work right. I have first hand experience when you select the wrong stonemason to do the work or go with the cheapest that you would then need to remediate after the work is done and the masons have moved on. Frankie is different and that’s my main reason why I have kept him in my contacts list for stone masonry and general stone/brick building works. Repairs to the sandstone buildings in the West End needs traditional skills that are rare to find but I have been very fortunate to found Frankie.
