  • Paid Pro Listings

  • Search and browsing tools

  • Optional promotional features

We do not provide building, repair, or trade services ourselves.

3. Eligibility

To create a listing or purchase a Pro Plan, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old

  • Provide accurate and truthful information

  • Comply with all applicable UK and Scottish laws

We reserve the right to remove or suspend any listing that violates these terms.

4. Business Listings

When creating a listing, you agree that:

  • All information you submit is accurate and up‑to‑date

  • You have the rights to any images or content you upload

  • You will not upload misleading, harmful, or illegal content

  • You are responsible for updating your listing if details change

We may edit, hide, or remove listings that breach our guidelines.

5. Pro Listings & Paid Plans

Pro Listings are paid subscription services that offer enhanced visibility and additional features.

By purchasing a Pro Plan, you agree that:

  • Payments are processed securely through Wix Payments or other approved providers

  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled

  • You can cancel at any time through your account

  • Fees already paid are non‑refundable unless required by law

We may change pricing or features with reasonable notice.

6. User Accounts

To create or manage a listing, you must register for a Member Account.

You agree to:

  • Keep your login details secure

  • Not share your account with others

  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access

We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

7. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you upload. However, by submitting content, you grant us a non‑exclusive licence to:

  • Display it on the platform

  • Use it for promotional purposes

  • Optimise it for search and user experience

You confirm you have the rights to all content you upload.

8. Platform Availability

We aim to keep the website available at all times, but we do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted access

  • Error‑free operation

  • That the platform will always be secure or free from bugs

We may suspend or modify the service for maintenance or improvements.

9. Disclaimer

Scottish Traditional Builders:

  • Does not verify the qualifications, insurance, or workmanship of listed businesses

  • Is not responsible for any agreements, payments, or disputes between users and tradespeople

  • Does not guarantee the accuracy of listings or reviews

Users should carry out their own checks before hiring any tradesperson.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • Loss of profits

  • Loss of business or contracts

  • Damage to property

  • Any indirect or consequential loss

  • Any issues arising from work carried out by listed tradespeople

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your Pro Plan (if applicable).

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account or listing if:

  • You breach these Terms

  • You provide false or misleading information

  • Your behaviour harms the platform or other users

You may delete your account at any time.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.

Continued use of the platform means you accept the updated terms.
