St Andrews Timber & Building Supplies
Our very first branch was opened in February of 2002, located at Prestonfield Ind. Estate, Edinburgh. When we opened, we had 5 staff, which included our 1 driver, with 1 truck. It was a steady start with gradual growth. Fast forward to 2016 where we opened our 2nd branch, with the acquisition of Timber & Plywood Services (TPS) in Paisley. Less than 12 months later, in June of 2017, we opened our 3rd branch, also in Edinburgh, at Stenhouse Mill Lane.
We had long been thinking of expanding to a 4th premises, and on November 30th, 2022, our Livingston depot was opened at Houstoun Ind. Estate. And here we are, now employing over 100 staff with over 20 vehicles servicing the central belt of Scotland.
Services
Products on offer include timber, joinery essentials, sheet materials, insulation, metal, paving slabs, porcelain, decorative chips, gravels, sands, cement, common blocks, bricks, drainage, tools, clothing, windows, floors, doors, landscaping products, and so much more. We also have a full spray booth at our Paisley depot which offers various wood treatments such as fire-retardant coatings, priming, staining, lacquering and more.
